Šis nav īsti tā sērija, kur tradicionālā romantika iederētos un arī galīgi būtu nevajadzīga. Šeit romantika ir starp galveno tēlu kuņģi un tukšo šķīvi (+ ar labiem “product placement” iz’ īstās dzīves).

To me romance is a part of life, doesn’t make sense not to have it, unless it’s some tragic stroy or a world full of dangers to the extreme.
I prefer Cooking with Wild Game, LN. It’s a great series.

Main protagonist is Tsurumi Asuta. 17 yrs old, 2nd year high schooler.

Vēl viens piemērs būtu dorohedoro. Ja man atmiņa neviļ, vienīgās romantiskas attiecības visā stāstā ir starp dakteri kuru pārvērta pa pusaudzi un viņa bijušo draudzeni kas kļuva pa dēmonu. Atskaitot šos divus otrā plāna tēlus romantiku vispār nevar atrast, ir vainu cieša platoniska draudzība, vai asinskārs naids

bet tur tā lieta ka tie nav traģiski stāsti, vismaz manā uztverē. Pirmais ir tonge and cheek kiberpunk noir detektīvs, otrais savā būtībā ir tumšā komēdija.
ja neviens no galvenajiem varoņiem nepiedzīvo lielus, graujošus zaudējumus stāsta laikā, tā nav īsti traģēdija manā izpratnē
Jo lielāka vispārējā traģēdija, jo vairāk romances būtu loģiski- life finds a way!

Sava veida stagnācija, visiem ērti kur viņi ir un nav iniciatīvas pārāk kratīt laivu ar jūtām. Bet ja tu zini ka garantēti vari nosprāgt pēc dienas vai divām, cilvēka dabas smukumi un nesmukumi iet gaisā visā krāšņumā.

Hmm, manā izpratnē romance ir kad ir tēli kuriem ir savstarpēja chemistry un viņiem ir build ups uz viņu romance un kā tas beigās izvērtīsies un galvenais fokuss ir uz šīm savatarpējām attiecībām, right? Tas uzreiz to arī padara par ‘romance’ žanru un it doesnt really make sense to likt vietās kur tas žanrs īsti nav. Kaut vai tajās pašās ēst gatavošanas lietās, ja main story lines ir par ēst gatavošanu, kāpēc nepieciešams tur ko lieki mest klāt? 
Ir daudz populāri darbi, kur romance neparādās jo nav īstais žanrs - tu vari pastāstīt ļoti labi stāstu tajā neiejaucot nekādu romance.
Es drīzāk domāju ka doesn’t make sense to have it unless it is in the genre :D

To me it’s different, romance is part of life… there has to be reasons not to have it, not reasons to have it.
It doesn’t have to be the focus in the story, but it’s weird in my eyes if there isn’t anything.
Man personīgi tā ļoti neiederās daudzviet. Vari just un redzēt, cik tā ir uzspiesta, neīsta un galīgi nevajadzīga. Fona skaņai kaut ko var ieslēgt, bet šis ir viens no iemesliem, kāpēc arī es atmetu sērijas. Ja tur sāk parādīties vēl “harem” elementi, tad jābūt iemesliem, kāpēc vēl gribētu skatīties. Kā cilvēks, kurš romaņtiķu ir izdzīvojis dažādos līmeņos dzīves laikā, saproti, kas var būt reāls un kas nē, kas ir fantāzija. Katram sava izpratne un pieredze arī par to.
Tas ir tāpat kā vienam patīk “Vāverīte” kūka, bet ir citi kas to neieredz. Kādam patīk šifontipa kūkas, bet kādam ar lauku krēmu vai ogām. Kādam varbūt pankūkas sablieztas viena uz otru ar ievārījumu ar ir torte. Tāpat ir ar romaņtiķu.
Man “romance žanrs” patīk, viennozīmīgi, bet, tai jābūt ar kādu cilvēciskumu - tādēļ daudzi no mums ir fani “My Dress up Darling”. Jo tāda romaņtiķa tiešām arī ir dzīvē (vai drīzāk pieredzēta). No traģiskās puses man patika “Violet Evergarden”. Brīnišķīgs stāsts, par to, kā būt cilvēkam un meklēt savu mīļoto, cerēt, ka to atradīs pēc pazušanas.

That just a subjective preference/opinion, just like mine.
I fully agree that often it can feel forced, but not becuase it shouldnt be there, but because it put in the forefront when in that specific series it should be a background thing, or the author simply cant write romance.
When i say romance, Im not talking about the genre, but about simple fact, that emotions exist in humans at least, unless the author decides otherwise.
I also liked My dressup darling, i caught up with the manga after the first few epsides, and finished it when it was completed, one of my favorite romance series.
I dont really understand the dislike of harem.
Well in fantasy what is real is decided by the worldbuilding, how author made it to be.
Fiction only has to make sense within itself, it doesnt have to rely on reality
When i watch fiction im detached from reality, since im engrossed in the world of the fiction im consuming. If something makes sense in the fiction, but doesnt make sense in reality, then it simply does make sense. Because im consuming the fiction not reality at that point in time. If im doing something in real life i go by real life rules and sense.
If a harem makes sense in fiction for example, then it does.
Reality has nothing to do with fiction.
Thats why my pet peeve is when peoiple say dumb shit like “all anime is political“, or “all art is political“ or something. Thats your interpretation of it, not mine. thats your subjective opinion, not a fact.
I feel like i might get misunderstood. im not saying you cant have your opinions. Im simply sharing mine.

In the end. I didn’t like the cooking isekai, because it was simply not my cup of tea, it seemed like a slow burn nothing goober, with no plot.
And my opinion is it could be worth giving it another shot if it had romance in it, since then at least it would have something fun in it.
Nu re, kā iepriekš arī teici, katram savs. Es atmetu, ja man piemēram nepatīk un atrodi kaut ko, kas patīk vairāk. Arī Tev ir sērijas, kas citiem patīk un Tev nē.
Tas ir normāli. Fantāzija ir laba lieta, bet man prasās lai būtu kāda kripatiņa realistikuma pašam - un ēst gatavošanas anime es skatos, jo bieži receptēs pierakstu un izmēģinu arī īstajā dzīvē, tādēļ tie “slice of life” man ir nomierinoši.
